HR Mastermind Group

A Mastermind group is a facilitated peer support group where members pool their knowledge and resources to help each other achieve similar goals.

Under the auspices of economic development, DDI assists the area’s human resource professionals in addressing common problems, challenges and opportunities faced on a daily basis by providing a convenient way to gather and discuss issues of the day.  The HR Mastermind Group is comprised of 25 business and education employment practitioners who desire to collaborate even though they compete regularly for the same workforce.

At each meeting 3 important questions are asked of each other:

    1. One thing that is working well such as HR tactic or strategy
    2. Something you are struggling with, an unsolved problem
    3. A resource that helps you in your work or business (tool or idea or process)

The HR Mastermind Group is also a convenient way for DDI to provide quick access and facilitation of employment & training programs and resources, hot topics, valued speakers, and to design initiatives valued by these employment experts.

One major goal of the HR Mastermind Group is to develop close relationships between business and education to help plan and prepare for workforce readiness & performance.
